Mr. Kelly's "How To" Video
How to Turn on a School Computer
As a class we've been working on creating "How To" videos. First we created a script, then we took video footage with Flip cameras, and now we're putting it into Windows Movie Maker to create the videos (that we'll share here on the class blog). We're excited to finish and share our work. Here's Mr. Kelly's "How To" video.

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief
February 24, 2010
As is tradition with my class, we choose a popular childrens' chapter book with a movie coming out, read the book, see the movie, and make some comparisons. This year we went to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (currently one of my favorite books)! As usual, the movie differed from the book, but was full of action, and the class thoroughly enjoyed it. We greatly appreciate the Gateway Megaplex Theaters for giving us our own private showing, and Salote Tukuafu & the Riley Apple Club for funding the field trip.
